As more and more consumers turn to drones to capture new aerial perspectives, law enforcement offices have been doing the same. Small unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) or drones have been growing in popularity ever since drone manufacturers have made them extremely easy to use and available in a large range of sizes and performance. The 2017 Interdrone Conference and Expo was held September 6-8 at the Rio Hotel and Casino, which is located near the bright lights of the famous Las Vegas strip. The annual 3 day event boasts nearly 200 drone industry manufacturers, sellers and vendors.
FlytBase, Inc., a startup building developer platforms for connected intelligent drones, today announced the release of industry’s first Drone-API as a Service offering. While most modern businesses run on cloud-based applications, connecting drones tothe cloud has been quite challenging. FlytBase plans to change that with their FlytBase Cloudplatform.
University of Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (UTAD) with The Remote Sensing and Photogrammetry Society (RSPSoc) and INESC-TEC, Portugal, are organising the 5th International Conference on “Small Unmanned Aerial Systems for Environmental Research”.
The second edition of the largest Croatian Conference on drones - DRONEfest was held in Zagreb. Through two days of the conference participants followed over 30 lectures and ten workshops, two-panel discussions and fly zone, with demonstrations in various models of drones. At the fair conference partners and exhibitors presented their drones and other products and services associated with this industry.
